WHERE WAS IT?
Vancouver Island is the wee grey shape; it lies to the west of the British Columbia mainland. On the north-western tip of the island, is the town of Tofino. Just to the south-east of that, is Long Beach Lodge Resort, where we booked some rooms and reserved some cabins, and where the wedding took place. The west coast of Vancouver Island is a favourite place for both Ruth and David. It is wild and windswept. It is constantly changing, and the colours of the seas, sands and skies are never the same from one moment to the next. It is never very cold; it is rarely very hot. It was idyllic, it was majestic, and it was absolutely gorgeous.
